The opportunity to attend Albany Law School brought this Seattle native and former CPA to the Capital Region. Three decades later, clients continue to depend on his understanding of both accounting and tax law to help them make sound decisions. In addition to advising clients about taxation, Charlie also prepares complex income tax returns.
He is often called on to advise his partners and their clients when there are tax implications pertaining to elder care, estate planning, and business transactions.
“Whether sitting down with a family or business owner, my goal is the same: protect what they have while planning ahead,” he explains. “The tax law will always change – you need someone who can explain the impact and chart your best path forward.”
